What is NeoLife Cruciferous Plus?
A food supplement built from concentrated extracts of cruciferous vegetables — broccoli, savoy cabbage, radish, watercress and mustard — with added vitamin E. It is 60 tablets, one a day, so a bottle is a two-month supply.
NeoLife positions it as a way to add cruciferous vegetable material to the diet in concentrated form. It is a whole-food-derived supplement rather than an isolated compound, and the label lists exactly which plants it draws on.
What is in each tablet
From the UK nutrition information on the pack. One tablet a day.
| Per 1 tablet | Amount | %NRV |
|---|---|---|
| Vitamin E | 3 mg α-TE1 | 25% |
The vitamin E is the only nutrient with a declared NRV; the rest of the tablet is plant material — a broccoli, savoy cabbage and radish cruciferous extract (18.24%), soy powder, orange oil powder, yellow mustard flour, watercress and a little licorice extract.1
What we can and cannot claim
Worth being straight about. Cruciferous vegetables and their compounds carry no authorised health claims in Great Britain. So we cannot tell you this product does anything specific for your health on the strength of its broccoli or cabbage content, and you should be wary of sellers who imply otherwise.
The one authorised claim that applies is for its vitamin E: vitamin E contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress. At 3 mg (25% NRV) per tablet it meets the threshold at which that claim may be used. Nothing else on this page is a health claim, and nothing is intended to diagnose, prevent, treat or cure any condition.1
It is a concentrated extract, and a supplement complements a vegetable-containing diet rather than replacing it.
The plant blend
- Cruciferous extract — broccoli, savoy cabbage and radish.
- Watercress and yellow mustard, both members of the same botanical family.
- Soy powder and orange oil powder as part of the base.
- A small amount of liquorice extract.
How to take it
One tablet a day. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Store somewhere cool and dry, out of reach of children.
60 tablets at one a day is a two-month supply, about 47p a day at £28.00.
Allergens and suitability
Read this before buying. Cruciferous Plus contains two declared allergens:
- Soya — soya powder is a major ingredient (about a quarter of the tablet).
- Mustard — yellow mustard flour and mustard oil powder.
It also contains liquorice extract in a small amount; people advised to limit liquorice (for example due to blood pressure) may wish to note that. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescribed medication or under medical care, speak to your GP or pharmacist before starting any new supplement.

What to compare when buying a vegetable-extract supplement
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Which plants, and how much | “Greens” supplements vary hugely. This one names its cruciferous sources — broccoli, savoy cabbage, radish, watercress, mustard — and the extract is about 18% of the tablet. |
| Health claims on the page | Cruciferous vegetables have no authorised GB health claims. A seller claiming specific benefits for them is overstating what is permitted. |
| “Equivalent to a serving” language | A concentrated extract is not a literal serving of vegetables. Treat such lines as positioning, not a substitute for eating vegetables. |
| Allergens | Vegetable-blend supplements often carry soya, mustard or gluten. This one contains soya and mustard. |
| Cost per day | One tablet a day — about 47p a day here. |
