About this product
What is NeoLifeShake Creamy Vanilla?
A creamy vanilla-flavour meal replacement shake for weight control. Each serving — one 42 g sachet blended with 240 ml of skimmed milk — provides around 27 g of protein, 5 g of fibre and a broad spread of vitamins and minerals for 237 kcal. A box holds 15 sachets.1
It is a balanced meal in a glass rather than a protein powder: alongside the protein it carries roughly a third to a half of the daily reference intake for two dozen vitamins and minerals, which is what separates a genuine meal replacement from a simple protein shake.
Nutrition per serving

The headline is the balance: around 27 g of protein and 5 g of fibre for 237 kcal, plus roughly a third to a half of the daily reference for two dozen vitamins and minerals — in one glass. The sugars figure is worth reading honestly: 22.4 g per serving, most of it from the milk’s own lactose and the fructose in the mix.1
What it is authorised to claim
NeoLifeShake is a meal replacement, and meal replacements carry two specific authorised claims in Great Britain, in the exact wording of the GB register:
- Weight loss: “Substituting two daily meals of an energy-restricted diet with such meal replacements contributes to weight loss.”
- Weight maintenance: “Substituting one daily meal of an energy-restricted diet with a meal replacement contributes to the maintenance of weight after weight loss.”
Both claims apply only as part of an energy-restricted diet, in which other foods are a necessary part, and it is important to maintain an adequate daily fluid intake — those conditions are part of the claim, not a footnote. To use the weight-loss claim you replace two meals a day; for maintenance, one. Nothing here is intended to diagnose, prevent, treat or cure any condition.
How to make it
Add one sachet to 240 ml of skimmed milk in a shaker and blend. A few ice cubes make it thicker and frothier. Use it as a meal replacement, or simply as a high-protein, nutrient-dense drink.
Each box holds 15 sachets. As a one-meal-a-day maintenance shake that is about two weeks; used twice a day for weight loss, about one week. A sachet is £4.93.
Allergens and suitability
Read this before buying. NeoLifeShake contains three declared allergens:
- Milk — milk protein and skimmed milk powder (and you make it up with more milk).
- Soya — soya protein isolate, soya fibre, soya lecithin and soybean oil.
- Oats — oat fibre, a cereal containing gluten. Not gluten-free.
Because it contains milk, it is suitable for vegetarians but not vegans. It is sweetened with fructose and steviol glycosides from stevia. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking prescribed medication or under medical care, speak to your GP or pharmacist before using any meal-replacement product — and meal replacements are not intended for children.
What to compare when buying a meal-replacement shake
| What to check | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Protein per serving | A meal replacement should carry real protein. This is about 27 g per serving made with skimmed milk.1 |
| As made up, or powder only? | These figures are for the sachet plus 240 ml skimmed milk. A “per powder” number is a different thing — check which a label is quoting. |
| Sugar | 22.4 g per serving here, mostly milk lactose and fructose. Compare the sugars line honestly across products.1 |
| Vitamin and mineral cover | A proper meal replacement replaces a meal’s nutrition, not just its calories. This carries a third to a half NRV across two dozen nutrients.1 |
| The authorised claim conditions | The weight-loss claim requires replacing two meals a day within an energy-restricted diet. A product implying results without that condition is overstating it. |
| Cost per serving | £4.93 a sachet here. Compare per serving, not per box. |

Common questions
Including the one most people are too polite to ask.
What is NeoLifeShake?
A meal replacement shake for weight control. One 42 g sachet blended with 240 ml skimmed milk provides about 27 g of protein, 5 g of fibre and a broad spread of vitamins and minerals for 237 kcal. A box holds 15 sachets.
How much protein is in a serving?
About 27 g per serving made up with 240 ml of skimmed milk, for 237 kcal. Those are the as-prepared figures from the pack — a "per powder" number on another product is not directly comparable.
Can it help with weight loss?
As a meal replacement for weight control it can carry two authorised claims: "Substituting two daily meals of an energy-restricted diet with such meal replacements contributes to weight loss." and "Substituting one daily meal of an energy-restricted diet with a meal replacement contributes to the maintenance of weight after weight loss." Both apply only as part of an energy-restricted diet, in which other foods are a necessary part. It is important to maintain an adequate daily fluid intake.
How much sugar does it contain?
22.4 g per serving, most of it from the milk's own lactose and the fructose in the mix. We would rather state that plainly than bury it — compare the sugars line across any shakes you are considering.
How do I make it, and how long does a box last?
Add one sachet to 240 ml skimmed milk and shake; ice makes it thicker. A box of 15 is about two weeks as a one-a-day maintenance shake, or about one week used twice a day for weight loss. A sachet works out at £4.93.
What allergens does it contain, and is it vegan?
It contains milk (milk protein and skimmed milk powder), soya (soya protein isolate, soya fibre, soya lecithin and soybean oil) and oats (oat fibre, a gluten-containing cereal, so it is not gluten-free). Because it contains milk it is suitable for vegetarians but not vegans.
Do the three flavours differ nutritionally?
The nutrition is essentially the same across Creamy Vanilla, Rich Chocolate and Berries n' Cream — the difference is flavour, with the chocolate version adding cocoa powder. Choose on taste.
What is it sweetened with?
Fructose and steviol glycosides from stevia. There are no artificial sweeteners.
Why does this cost more than a supermarket version?
Because it is a different product sold a different way, and because we are not trying to be the cheapest. NeoLife products reach you through independent distributors rather than a supermarket shelf, which is a more expensive route. What we will not tell you is that a cheaper alternative does nothing. We could not prove that, so we do not say it. If price is the deciding factor, buy the cheaper one — that is a perfectly sensible thing to do. For what it is worth, this pack (15 servings) works out at £4.93 each.
How much is delivery, and where do you ship?
UK delivery is a flat £10.00, and it is free — with a free NeoLife Shaker — on orders over £150. We ship within the United Kingdom only. Orders are dispatched from the UK by DPD and usually arrive in about three working days; if anything is delayed we will email you rather than leave you wondering.
What if I change my mind?
You have 14 days from delivery to tell us you want to cancel, for any reason, and a further 14 days to send the item back. Sealed items such as food supplements and cosmetics can only be returned for a change of mind if the seal is unbroken. Email us first and we will tell you where to send it; we refund within 14 days of receiving it back. If something arrived faulty, damaged or wrong, that is on us — we will replace or refund it, including the postage.
Is this genuine NeoLife stock?
Yes. We are an official NeoLife distributor and everything on this site comes through NeoLife’s own supply chain — not a marketplace reseller, and not parallel imports.
Will this work for me?
We genuinely cannot tell you that, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Food supplements are not medicines and nothing on this site is medical advice. They are also not a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. If you take prescribed medication, or something about your health is worrying you, speak to your GP or pharmacist before adding anything new.

Sources 1 Amounts per serving are taken from the product’s UK label (NeoLife). %NRV figures use the Nutrient Reference Values in Annex XIII of Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011, as it applies in Great Britain.
